Emma DeRoche is a dream to work with!She and her Design firm take the time to truly listen and help bring your thoughts, feeling and vibes to fruition. Not only does Ava and Arlene have impeccable design taste. They will handle everything from the idea phase, to hiring the proper General Contractor, subs, over seeing the entire process and being present at the job site during the work. They did everything from A to Z. They made redecorating my home a simple breeze. From providing me my options and giving me the pros and cons of each option with various cost estimates made it easy for me to make a comfortable informed decision on every step of the process. They are extremely flexible with their service. Their contractors are also professional and very neat. They clean up after every job and make the process very convenient. I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to personally work with Jamie Roddy and her design team at EdenLA. At first, my visit to EdenLA was only to get a few things done in the guest room, but after meeting with Jamie at the house and discussing a few other design ideas for other rooms in the house, I decided to re-do the entire house, of course with Jamie’s help. She was phenomenal… from her paying attention to every detail, to listening to what my needs were (and budget), to having a wonderful attitude with no ego. We went through each room in the house, top to bottom, even deciding the colors of paint for the walls. The house could not be more beautiful and finally complete since we moved in 6 years ago. My boyfriend and I moved into our place together last year and we had no idea where to start when it came to interior decorating. Additionally, we both had busy jobs and were dreading the thought of spending our free time on the weekends going to a million furniture stores. Working with Natalie alleviated all of this. She was always professional, friendly, and patient. She took the time to give us many different options (through awesome easy to digest slides) for each piece of furniture for every room in our place at all different price points. And when we agreed on all the furniture she organized all the buying and shipping so that all the furniture would just arrive at our place and we didn't have to lift a finger, it was amazing. Our place turned out better than we could have possibly imagined and people compliment us all the time on our taste. I hired Lynne in fall 2012 to work with me on three rooms. I have been so happy with all aspects of her service that I have engaged her to work on other areas of the house.Not only does Lynne possess all the skills one would expect in an interior designer ( fresh ideas, an eye for color and a good sense of space to name just a few) but she has talents that I had not considered as valuable before the project started.Lynne has a wonderful personality and this enables her to connect and communicate with both clients and retailers in a warm, friendly and highly productive manner. She has used her charm to negotiate some great deals, organize expedited deliveries and get answers to questions that I was unable to secure on my own. She has also chased down furniture items, fabrics and lighting when other designers might have suggested we give up and go another route. When i saw something I liked in a copy of Architectural Digest, she made contact with the designer of the featured house and found out all sorts of useful information during the course of a friendly chat. She listens well. She always respects the needs and wants of the client but is not afraid to step in if she thinks you are making a terrible mistake. I particularly love that Lynne helped me to step outside my comfort zone. The results have been spectacular. I have been delighted with all work to date and look forward to a continued relationship with Lynne.
